Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge is not the first Samsung smartphone to propose themes to customize their interface, however, they are the only terminals Korean offering the user the ability to download additional themes via a dedicated shop. If for the moment, supply is tight, it seems that it is now being extended in anticipation of the release of the two flagship stores planned for Friday.
As evidenced by a recent report by SamMobile, Samsung intends to offer even more themes by the release of Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. If some of them are fairly anecdotal, it is one that should still make the happiness of all concerned users of the autonomy of their device.
As users Samsung, you are aware that over the image displayed by an AMOLED screen is dark, it will consume less energy because this type of tile, black pixels remain off. It is for this reason that the AMOLED panels offer black so deep. And it is especially in this context that Samsung has taken care to provide a dominant theme in black for the last two flagships.
As we have already seen, the themes allow radically change various aspects of the user interface (wallpaper, icons, basic applications, color notifications …). One feature we found quite convincing when we tested the Galaxy S6.
Note that, for now, all the themes offered in the store are from Samsung. Nevertheless, by the end of April, the Korean plans to release an official SDK for developers who will then be able to post new topics free or paid directly to the store.
