In the old arcade games we had to deal with unique, interesting challenges while also enjoying the retro graphics. This is exactly what Ten Second Space Missions tries to bring in to the table, but the entire twist that it provides here is simply amazing.
Each of the missions is 10 seconds long, which might seem like a breeze at first, but the reality is that the experience quickly ramps up and you will sometimes find that the 10 seconds are way too long to stay alive.
There are dozens of levels that you can go through in this game, and I was impressed to see that the title does manage to provide quite a lot of interesting and challenging moments. It’s not hard to determine which are the best choices that you can make in the game, but at the same time the entire game play is truly interesting since you have so much to do in a short period of time. Personally, I always tried to achieve the highest score, however since there are so many enemy ships that shoot projectiles, this started to be quite challenging most of the time.
The bosses in this game are very interesting because they do add a human touch that I liked quite a lot. I am also truly amazed by the fact that there are multiple skill levels where you can show your might unlike never before. The leaderboards are a nice touch because even if each person has 10 seconds to get a high score, each player manages to get a specific score, so make no mistake about it, this is a very competitive game for sure.
I loved the visuals here because they bring in the unique, pixelated appeal that makes the entire experience well worth it. It’s nice to see that there are achievements as well because I did find myself replaying levels just to get achievements. This does add quite a lot of replay value to the game!
When it comes to the music and soundtrack as a whole, I have to say that everything is nicely designed and truly impressive to the point where you will always find yourself playing just to listen to the cool music playing in the background.
This is indeed a wonderful time killer when you are commuting or on the road, because it’s perfect to relax, all while trying out some challenges. Each moment I spent in Ten Second Space Missions was a complete delight and I was impressed with how good the entire gameplay really was. It’s a nice experience and one that did provide me with an immense amount of joy.
If you like the idea of space arcade shooters, trust me, you will enjoy Ten Second Space Missions a lot!
